WAIVERS
An individual who is ineligible to be admitted to the U.S. as an immigrant or to adjust status in the U.S and certain non-immigrant applicants who are inadmissible must file a Form I-601β Application for Waiver of Grounds of Inadmissibility βto seek a waiver of certain grounds of inadmissibility.

asylum
Political asylum is a form of protection available to people already present in the U.S. This is for people who are afraid of returning to their home country because of actual persecution, or who have a well-founded fear of actual persecution because of their race; religion; national origin; membership in a particular social group; or, political views.
removal defense
We understand that removal can be a stressful and confusing time for clients and their family members. Rahman Legal PC is experienced in defending clients facing deportation and advises clients on appropriate options that may be available to them, such as a waiver, cancellation of removal, or asylum and withholding of removal.
EB-5 immigrant investor
Congress created the EB-5 Program in 1990 to stimulate the U.S. economy through job creation and capital investment by foreign investors. In 1992, Congress created the Immigrant Investor Program, also known as the Regional Center Program. This sets aside EB-5 visas for participants who invest in commercial enterprises associated with regional centers approved by USCIS based on proposals for promoting economic growth.
